What’s on this Summer at QPAC

QPAC has a busy program in the coming weeks and months that includes a theatre production of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic 1959 film, “North by Northwest” that starred Cary Grant.

The stage production has been a hit in Canada and the UK and Brisbane is only the second city in Australia to experience the state of the art production.

The classic story is filled with suspense, dramatic twists and turns, hair raising thrills and daring escapes. It’s running in Brisbane for only two weeks, beginning on November 27th.

That’s not all that’s on at QPAC. There’s only a few days to buy tickets to the final performance on Saturday of ‘Don Quixote’ from Italy’s world famous Teatro Alla Scala Ballet Company.

This week also sees the Australian premiere of the ballet company’s production of ‘Giselle’.

Over Christmas, a production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ will entertain the whole family. In January, Deadly 60 Down Under and The 91 Storey Treehouse will also be very popular. For those who love magic, The Illusionists from Broadway will also be wowing audiences.

The Camp Hill Antique Centre is Brisbane’s largest and has over 70 vendors selling antique fashion, furniture and more. The centre moved from Woolloongabba 15 months ago to what was once the Planet Cinema on Old Cleveland Road.

Visitors can easily spend a whole day at the centre and there’s even an onsite café serving breakfast and lunch.
