Brenden Hall is one of Australia’s most successful Paralympic swimmers. His claim to fame is that he has not been beaten in the 400m freestyle in international competition for eight years!
He believes his success comes from a complete dedication to his sport. Brenden had a love of the water from before he was a toddler. At the age of three he lost his right leg after complications from chicken pox, but was back in the water within a matter of weeks.
In what spare time he does have, Brenden still loves to spend it by the water. He and his Pug Winston enjoy strolling along the Mooloolaba foreshore, taking some time to kick back, relax and appreciate the downtime.
