Most people know Agro as ‘the puppet with attitude’ who appeared for 10 years on Agro’s Cartoon Connection back in the 1990s.
Despite keeping a low profile over the years, Agro is still very much alive and kicking and to prove the point is keen to share his Great Day Out – at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
Being a Brisbane boy Agro has always loved to visit Lone Pine and so takes us on a tour that includes the sheep dog trials, a cuddle with a koala, and a face off with a couple of friendly pythons.
Lone Pine is celebrating its 90th year this year, and even though Agro is not quite that old he feels he has a true affinity with it.
Lone Pine is open seven days a week and can be found on Jesmond Road in the Brisbane suburb of Fig Tree Pocket.
