In the coming weeks and months, the Gold Coast will be playing host to some incredible free music events. There’s Blues on Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise Live, to name just two.
As well as enjoying the big line-up of musical stars, visitors are encouraged to experience some of the coast’s signature attractions.
Surfers Paradise is famous for fun, and at the top of many people’s list is Jet Boat Extreme. It offers 55-minute tours of the Gold Coast Broadwater in jet boats that get up to speeds of 80 kph. The boats boast 650-hp twin jet power turbo engines and give guests the ride of their lives!
Another popular attraction is Infinity. It’s a family-run business that offers guests a mind-bending experience inside a giant futuristic maze. There are 20 worlds inside the maze and each one poses different challenges.
The maze is filled with special effects and illusions and is ideal for the whole family.
This year marks the 100th birthday of the original Ripley’s Believe it or Not comic strip. So what better time to visit Ripley’s Believe it or Not in Surfers Paradise?
It houses hundreds of artifacts from around the world and some of the oddest oddities you’ll discover anywhere! There are 15 individually themed galleries that cover 900 square metres.
Some other terrific attractions at Surfers include taking to the air at iFly Indoor Skydiving and checking out the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets, which are on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights.
