The Designer’s Guide: Easton Pearson

Australian fashion label, Easton Pearson put Queensland on runways around the world. Brisbane ladies, Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson launched the label in 1989 and as they say, the rest was history!

From their base in Brisbane, they showcased their garments around the world and were stocked by Browns in London, New York’s Bergdof Goodman, L’Eclaireur in Paris, Joyce in Hong Kong and David Jones across Australia.

As the years rolled over, the pair began to collect pieces from their collections, forming an incredible archive of work which was gifted to the Museum of Brisbane. The entire archive consists of around 3,300 garments and more than 5,000 objects and accessories.

The Designer’s Guide: Easton Pearson features select garments from the archive, as well as look books.
