Since 2015, Redcliffe’s Old Fire Station has been home to the Redcliffe Art Society and the Redcliffe Pottery Group.
The Redcliffe Art Society is a passionate group of volunteers who have created an artistic hub on the peninsula. Inside the beautiful heritage-listed building, you’ll find a gallery that is consistently exhibiting local artists, a gallery shop, and two working studios.
The workshops are held in the studio, and range from painting, sketching, life drawing, watercolour, charcoal, oil and acrylics.
The Redcliffe Pottery Group is also run out of the old Redcliffe Fire Station precinct. They run pottery classes, and people are welcome to come and use their facilities.
The August Arts & Crafters Market Day is on Saturday 3 August, 2019 at the Old Redcliffe Fire Station, presented by the Moreton Bay Arts Council Inc. Featuring over 50 market stalls by local artisans, art demonstrations, food vans, and music, it is a great day out for families and a perfect opportunity for early Christmas shoppers!
