QPAC’s Out of the Box

Since 1992, QPAC’s Out of the Box has been widening the minds of Brisbane’s under eights. It’s a festival dedicated to vibrant activity, art, movement and learning. This year, the festival is back with an absolutely jam packed week of interactivity.

The theatres of QPAC will all feature their own performances. From the internationally renowned Air Play, to a simple, heartfelt story called Duck that both audiences young and old will adore.

Head outside to experience all the vibrant culture of Little Yarwar. The world Yarwar means to sing and dance, and that’s exactly what guests will experience, and do themselves. Enjoy the moves of the Yerongpan Aboriginal Dancers at the Yarwar Dance Ground, play around and create patters in the See Change Sand Tracks, or learn traditional jarjum games.

If even more activity is on the cards, visitors can’t pass up the opportunity to book in on a Guru Dudu silent disco walking tour.

Pop on a set of headphones, and follow your super-enthusiastic tour guide on an invigorated wander around QPAC. All the details, timings, and booking instructions can be found of the Out of the Box website.
