Hot Spots of the Redlands Coast

Cleveland Point

From the 150 year old wooden lighthouse to the café metres away offering fresh seafood and stunning views out to Peel Island and North Stradbroke Island just behind, this site can only be described as magical, especially on a sunny day, with the glistening of the surrounding waters. There’s also a popular little playground and tracks if the little ones choose to take a scooter or bike.

North Stradbroke Island

The second largest sand island in the world has long been popular with locals and visitors alike thanks to easy access via a short ferry ride and the stunning scenery that awaits. There’s plenty to choose from when it comes to an itinerary, from picnic spots, fishing, walking tracks and of course Point Lookout is an ideal spot to see migrating humpback whales in the cooler months.

Sirromet

Opening their cellar door in 2000, this award-winning winery has certainly developed over the years. Today there’s more than just wine on offer (although the walk in wine tasting and wine tours are still as popular as ever). Enjoy a meal at one of the three kitchens – Restaurant Lurleens, Tuscan Terrace or Cellar Door – a hit of golf and even a night in one of the new glamping tents.

Redland Bay

This charming bayside suburb boasts one of the most beautiful foreshore trails in Queensland, well-worth a visit to enjoy the walk or run. It also hosts regular markets which always draw a vibrant crowd.
