Grand Ideas Salvage Emporium

Industrial antiques, vintage treasures, nautical novelties and ancient entrances, it’s all at Grand Ideas Salvage Emporium – a place that takes recycling to a whole new level.

It’s a treasure trove of unique materials just waiting for their next chance at life. Recycling old material to give it a new life, the salvage emporium often sees things used as something totally different to what they were originally intended for.

Windows as art, doors as tables, there are no rules when it comes to restoration and recycling. Starting out as a passion project for owner, Paul Norris, the Salvage Emporium is now serving a much bigger purpose as every item they successfully rehome is one less in land fill. Paul takes great pride in sharing the stories of the items he recovers with the people who eventually take them home.

From old doors and windows to signs and artefacts from the long lost, you won’t be short of things to see and the best bit is it’s all one of a kind! And just next door, LilyPad Café follows the recycling theme. It’s one of the first shipping container cafés and the perfect spot to replenish after a hard morning of treasure hunting.
