The journey begins at Brisbane’s Roma Street Station where guests board a classic QR heritage train bound for the Glasshouse Mountains region. Throughout the train trip, musicians perform on board – moving from carriage to carriage – as guests sit back and enjoy the passing scenery. There’s the option to purchase drinks and snacks on board too.
On arrival at Beerwah, passengers disembark and stroll through the quaint town which is dotted with ‘steam-punk’ style artworks. The final stop is a performance venue where some of Brisbane’s best contemporary blues artists serve up a further feast of music. A generous buffet dinner is included in the ticket.
Homeward bound, there’s more live music to enjoy – set to the clickety-clack rhythm of the railway track.
