Brisbane’s West End is bursting at the seams with creative offerings, but what if you’re not particularly artistic?
Well, the idea of art classes isn’t a new one, but the idea of painting and sipping is guaranteed to get the creative juices flowing.
The Montague Hotel on Montague Road is where you’ll find The Montana Art Project. Paint and Sip classes are run by street artist, Stewart.
He guides aspiring students with easy instructions on portraits using stencils of Audrey Hepburn or Frida Kahlo.
The class starts with a complimentary glass of bubbles and runs for around 2.5 hours. At the end of the session, you get to take home your very own masterpiece!
It’s a large art space so large groups can be catered for — great for a group of friends for a special outing. You can BYO wine, beer and soft drink.
