Axe throwing is a fun and different activity that anyone over the age of 18 can try out. Owners Sam and Tyson, of Lumber Punks at Miami on the Gold Coast, are convinced that there is no one type of patron to step up to the challenge. Since opening their doors only a few months ago they have seen a flood of people young and old, including buck’s and hen’s nights, work groups and even first dates.
Sam and Tyson have begun holding leagues for those looking to push themselves further through a bit of friendly competition. They insist however, that they don’t see this as a sport, as much as an activity that bonds people over trying something new and out of your comfort zone.
They encourage anyone itching to try something new to swing by and give it a go.
