The Tastes of Moreton Bay is a month-long celebration of the wonderful produce, restaurants and foodie events that make the region such a great place to wine and dine. It’s on from the 23rd August until 23rd September in 2019, and it offers a delicious program sure to delight visitors and locals.
The region is home to many dining destinations that are environmentally conscious and all about making the most of local produce.
Flock Eatery is on Redcliffe Parade and offers great views of the bay, as well as a fantastic menu. Everything is sourced from local farms and all scraps are used to make compost to help grow more fresh produce served in the café. Their mantra is “Local. Seasonal. Sustainable.”
At Caboolture is Gather and Feast. It’s a café that proudly boasts the best coffee and brunch menu in the region! It’s all about local produce and there is a strong health focus. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options are also offered.
A great place to wash down all the fresh flavours is at White Brick Brewing at Northlakes. It offers locally made beers with names that pay respects to the Moreton Bay region and its many stories. Guests are invited to relax, eat some hot food and enjoy some cool beer.
