Sea to the City 2019: Brisbane CBD’s only seafood trail is back

Eagle Street Pier  – It’s our city’s foodie destination! In just a few weeks’ time the second annual Sea to City event will be setting up shop on the banks of the Brisbane River.

Just think, Mooloolaba prawns, Hervey Bay scallops, Moreton Bay bugs, oysters; the best seafood of our region.

Over 16 stalls from Customs House to Cha Cha Char will be catering to the masses, each doing their own house dish with the two hero ingredients: Moreton Bay bugs and oysters.

Head Chef, Anthony Donaldson, told us that last year was a great success.

“We actually were quite shocked, we thought it was going to be a quiet little afternoon, you know? But it was a heaving event, and hopefully this year we’ll have the same success. We’ll have a great turnout because it’s just great to celebrate the locality and the fresh seafood.”

Sip and eat your way down the Brisbane River with seafood dishes from Brisbane’s best culinary destinations and chefs.

The one-day Sea to City event is on this year Sunday 13th October 2019.
