Paradise Country

Paradise Country is tucked away behind the bigger, better known theme parks along the Pacific Highway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Despite its location, a visit to Paradise Country is like a trip to the country! There are hectares of bushland and farmland to explore – home to a wide variety of Australian farm animals and native wildlife.

Expect sheep shearing demonstrations, cow milking, horse riding and whip cracking. Then there’s the chance to interact with our native critters – cuddle a koala; pat a kangaroo; or make friends with a python!

There’s the option to stay a night or two at Paradise Country’s Farmstay, situated towards the rear of the park. On-site tents include family set-ups, with or without ensuite. For more creature comforts, why not stay in one of the luxurious Swagman caravans? Or you can bring your own mobile holiday home.

Guests to the Farmstay can take part in exclusive sunrise and sunset farm activities. These include bottle feeding baby animals; egg collecting; cow milking and feeding; wine tasting; and yarn-spinning beside the nightly campfire.

Paradise Country also hosts fun events for the public throughout the year – including Sunday live music sessions. The Farmhouse Restaurant is open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
