Lost Trades Fair

Toowoomba is a city that celebrates the treasures of old. The heritage buildings and preserved pieces of history tell of a time when craftsmanship was king.

The Cobb + Co Museum holds Australia’s largest collection of restored coaches and carriages but it’s not just a visual display. The museum hosts regular workshops where people can have a go at some of the heritage trades that have brought these carriages back to life.

Fittingly, the Cobb + Co Museum will host the Lost Trades Fair – a culmination of tradesmen and women working hard to keep traditional trades alive. With hundreds of combined years of training, around 60 artisans will demonstrate and share their skills and talent for heritage trades.

The fair will be held on the 7th and 8th of October. Be prepared to be inspired by the art of handmade!
