Exploring Tumbulgum by River Cruise with Mount Warning Tours

Mount Warning Tours offer a range of tours that explore the beautiful Tweed Valley in northern New South Wales.

There are food and farm tours, craft beer discovery tours and eco-retreat packages. The company is proud to show off what they say is the most beautiful part of Australia, the Tweed Valley.

One of their most popular tours is aboard ‘Spirit of Wollumbin’, a cruise boat that journeys up and down the Tweed River. Guests can admire birdlife (and even feed them!) and incredible views of Mount Warning. Food and drinks are served to guests on board and commentary is provided by the captain.

The cruise’s main attraction is a nature reserve known as Stotts Island. It’s riparian, subtropical flood plain rainforest — and the last remnant of this type of rainforest in New South Wales.

Once the cruise is over, guests enjoy a seafood lunch at House of Gabriel Restaurant. House of Gabriel is in the tiny town of Tumbulgum, between Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah, and it’s open for breakfast and lunch.

The jetty out front is where guests can hop aboard a Tweed Valley Cruise.
