The Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane on George Street

The Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane on George Street is opening 25 November 2019 and offers guests 220 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

The building used to be the Queensland Government Savings Bank, which opened in 1922. It used to be one of Brisbane’s tallest buildings and today it still offers incredible views of the CBD and South Bank.

Many of the original heritage elements of the building remain, including the old bank vaults and the main staircase.

In the lobby is one of Brisbane’s most popular restaurants, Donna Chang.

Donna Chang is famous for its delicious fusion of authentic Cantonese cuisine and fresh local ingredients. As it’s named after a character from Seinfeld, the fortune cookies all have Seinfeld quotes inside them!

Downstairs in what was once the bank vaults is the Boom Boom Room. It’s Brisbane’s most opulent basement bar and home to the vault, where 27 rare and limited-release whiskeys and cognacs are kept. Stunning lounges are also available for groups inside the vaults, behind concrete doors that are 800mm thick.

To celebrate the opening, guests at The Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane on George Street get 20% off and can win a trip of a lifetime to Germany if they stay at the hotel before 31st January 2020. Visitors will automatically go into the draw to win the 2-week trip for two valued at $15,000.
