We can’t believe that Christmas is almost here, but we certainly are not complaining! If you are on a hunt for some Christmas events to get you in the festive spirit, here are some of our favourites on offer this month.
Sing carols in Pine Rivers Park
If you live in the Moreton Bay Region, head to Pine Rivers Park on the 16th December for a spot of carolling. If singing is not for you, you can just sit back, relax and watch the fun, or spend some time exploring Santa’s Village. There is even a giant snow globe that you can climb inside, twilight markets and fireworks to finish off the night!
Visit the Enchanted Garden
If you are looking for a dose of Christmas spirit, right in the centre of Brisbane, look no further than the Enchanted Garden in the Roma Street Parklands. A wander through the magical Enchanted Gardens are a perfect way to get you feeling festive. If the queues have put you off in the past, you will be pleased to learn that this year the exhibition has expanded and lining up is not required. The Enchanted Garden will be open from the 7th December through to the 19th December.
Head to a Christmas market
We absolutely love a Christmas market, especially when it is Christmas themed! On the 8th December, Nundah is being decked with holly as it is transformed into a Christmas haven between 4pm and 9pm. With pop up bars, an abundance of gifts, entertainment and festive food, this is one Christmas market you should not look past!
Visit the Granite Belt Christmas Farm
If you have not already made the pilgrimage to the Granite Belt Christmas Farm in Applethorpe, Saturday the 15th December is the day to do so! The Farm’s annual Christmas festival is back this month for an enchanting, action-packed evening, celebrating everything Christmas. If you can’t make it to the festival though, you can visit the Farm on Wednesday through to Sunday.
There is no better way to get in the Christmas spirit than by visiting the Granite Belt Christmas Farm 🎄 With reindeers, the best hot chocolate you will ever taste and over 10,000 real Christmas trees to choose from, it is a must-visit this holiday season! For more information, head to http://bit.ly/Christmas-Tree-Farm
