Over two weekends in October, you’ll have the chance to sample the absolute finest in German food, taste hand-crafted beers made from 200 year old recipes, enjoy traditional music and entertainment, learn more about German culture and history, and generally get in on plenty of fun for the whole family. Oktoberfest Brisbane is Australia’s largest German Festival and will be taking over the Brisbane Showgrounds over 2 weekends – October 6-8 & 13-15. Tickets are available online and at the gate.

When it comes to dressing up for the occasion, Mama Schnucki is the only place in Australia where you will find authentic German outfits – from lederhosens to dirndls she’ll have you looking a million bucks!

However it doesn’t have to be Oktoberfest to enjoy the finest in German culture! The German Club in Woolloongabba serves up the biggest pork knuckle and has 12 German beers on tap! They also feature live entertainment on weekends.
