Experience has shown us that southeast Queenslanders love listening to their music outdoors, and even better when you don’t have to spend a cent!
The Sound Society is a free live music event held in two of Brisbane’s finest green spaces, Roma Street Parkland and South Bank Parklands. Picnic blankets and chairs are suppled so all that’s left to do is turn up and enjoy the soothing sounds. Food is also on the menu, whether you bring along your own picnic snacks or grab a tasty bite to eat from one of the nearby food vendors.
Live bands fill the parklands with soothing sounds. It’s a perfect spot to catch up with mates or enjoy some solo time outdoors. And there is no decimation here – dogs are invited too!
South Bank sessions are held on the first Saturday of the month from 2pm until 7pm, and Roma Street Parkland sessions are held the next day on Sunday, from 9am until midday.
