The Scariest Things to do in South-East QLD

Boo! The spookiest time of year is here! While in Australia, we tend not to go overboard with Halloween, sometimes the child in us likes to seek out a scare. Feeling a little bit ghoulish, we decided to find the scariest experiences on offer in South-East Queensland for you dare-devils out there…

Get locked in an asylum…

What is scarier than being locked in an asylum? Or rather, an asylum-themed Escape Manor room, complete with a gurney, a physician’s scale and other terrifying props. We are pretty sure the room will leave chills running down your spine!

Come inside the Wine Cellar escape room with Luke… (Trust us, it is as almost as creepy)

Make contact with the paranormal…

We are terrified just thinking of the Southport Cemetery Paranormal Activity Tour.  This petrifying two-hour tour is known for having high paranormal activity levels. Part of the tour involves attempting to make contact with ghosts through the help of divining rods, KII meters and divination tools. This tour is not for the faint-hearted, as the grisly stories alone will have you wanting to run home! Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Get the fright of your life!

If you want a fright, there is no better place to get it than at Movie World’s Fright Night! Trust us when we say it is terrifying! Open until 10 pm, it is a chance for you to experience Movie World at night while tackling horrifying mazes, spooky shows, scare zones and more.

Be prepared to get scared! 👻

We are here at Warner Bros. Movie World – Gold Coast, Australia for Friday the 13th Fright Night!! First on the agenda, The Jigsaw Maze with Liz Cantor!!!

Spend a night inside a haunted gaol…

If you have nerves of steel, why not go on a night tour around a haunted gaol? Enter Boggo Gaol after dark and prepare for the fright of your life, as you tour the gaol, hearing ghost stories from prisoners and wardens. The tour will even take you to the notoriously haunted gallows… If you are feeling doubly brave, over Halloween Boggo Gaol are running extra tours, where you can even start your tour at 9.15pm. Sounds terrifying to us!

Join Curtis as he tours the prison (during the day albeit!)
