Brisbane’s Best Desserts

Whether you are someone with a killer sweet tooth, or even someone who just likes to indulge every once in a while, chances are you are always on the hunt for your next sweet treat! If you are a sugar-lover, Brisbane is a great place to be, with everything from wacky treats, to specialty gelato, to to-die-for pastries on offer. La Macelleria

For a gelato treat, look no further than La Macelleria in Teneriffe, Coorparoo and West End. The gelateria has a range of delicious gelatos on offer, as well as coffee, cakes, homemade ‘paddle pops’ and gelato sandwiches.

The Stand

If you have a craving for a sweet treat late at night, look no further than The Stand in California Lane. This dessert and cocktail bar is open until 8 pm Tuesday-Friday and until late on weekends, meaning it is the perfect place to head to when you have a late-night craving.

Flour and Chocolate

If you are someone with a sweet tooth, then no doubt you are familiar with Flour and Chocolate. Flour and Chocolate have two stores around Brisbane – one in Morningside and a new store in Northgate. Both stores are jam-packed full of danishes, doughnuts, cakes, brownies, pastries slices and tarts.

Cowch in South Bank is a dessert-lovers paradise! Whether you are after churros, waffles, crepes, dessert pizza, ice cream or cake, you are guaranteed to find it at Cowch!

Hello Mister Frankie

For an indulgence that is a little more unique, look no further than Hello Mister Frankie in Brunswick Street Mall. Hello Mister Frankie sells a range of drool-worthy puffles. For those not in the know, a puffle is an egg waffle, stuffed full with ice cream and toppings, such as marshmallows, Nutella, Hello Pandas and chocolate. Trust us, it is a sweet treat that you need in your life!
